MY 2026 WISHLIST

Probably one of my favorite things to do is thoughtfully curating my wishlist for next year. I hope you enjoy my 2026 wishlist!

2026 wishlist

I genuinely love putting this list together. I start off every year with cleaning up my closet, and thinking about the pieces I need, from basics to new styles that I’ve been interested in. I’ve talked about this process in the past and I find Pinterest the easiest to keep track of. I pin all the things I am interested in and then prioritize them based on how much I need or want them, a bit of an arbitrary process based on mood, discounts, and availability on the second hand market, where I’ve been shopping quite a bit because it’s good for the environment and the wallet.

I think my list is a bit more manageable this year. Overall, my goal is to buy less. It’s not like I buy things on whim, but I want to buy even less this year. I am still swooning over some pieces, but they are fewer than the years prior. They are also not all high end pieces, so my credit card can breathe a bit. Now, let’s go through the list.

If you are interested in getting to know my 2026 Wishlist, this is it! I hope this inspires you to build your own.

LUXURY WISHLIST

#1 PETREL BLUE SHIRT

I was going through some old photos from my college years and I came across one where I was wearing this shirt from the Mango X Penelope Cruz collab. I wore this shirt on repeat to death and it’s probably somewhere back home. I am looking for a very specific shade of blue. Like a petrel blue in an oversized cut. I found one that seems to tick all the boxes, we’ll see how it pans out when I try it on.

#2 THE ROW BLACK LOAFERS

This was on my list last year, and I wasn’t able to get my hands on them. I really want The Row Loafers in the black color and eel leather. These loafers have been very slow to restock and I refuse to have someone source The Row items for me. I will either buy it from the store (I’m on the waitlist) or third party stockists that are known to carry The Row items. I’ve talked about this in the past, it isn’t so easy to authenticate The Row items, so I am very careful with what I buy from the second hand market or which stockists I use.

#3 TOP HANDLE BAG

I really want to get a top handle bag this season. There are a few that are on my radar from Phoebe Philo era Céline and The Row, mostly from the second hand market as they have been discontinued. They have to be available in the right leather and hardware combination at the right price.

#4 SCARF

The girl who never used scarves, now has an interest in one. Hot take, I’ve never liked Hermes scarves, I find the design to be very intricate and busy for the eye. Then came Michael Rider with his modern take, nothing to do with horses or horse riding. Just really cool modern designs and the blue got me. So here we are.

#5 CELINE BAG CHARM

Ok, if you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that I am impatiently waiting for the Hand Charm to drop at Celine so I can have one. Phoebe Philo had a similar design back in the day as part of her collection at Céline, and those pieces go for upwards of $2K on the second hand market. This is a piece that is very iconic of that era, so I have to have it.

#6 STATEMENT TOPS

I have a need for some nice tops that I can wear out and about but more specifically to dates and dinners. I somehow have a serious need in my closet in this category. I probably went through a closet clean out and happened to not like any of the ones I had.

#7 BLACK TURTLE NECK

I want to have a high quality black turtleneck sweater that is thick (not a layering piece). I am quite particular with knits, so I will have to see what I find.

#8 CARTIER TANK WATCH

I have given this watch so much thought, it’s been on my radar for the past two years and it was on my wishlist for 2025, and obviously it didn’t happen. It’s not a small purchase by any means, so I’m glad in my ways that I held off a bit, except the price of gold going up.

WISHLIST

#9 TIFFANY ELSA PERETTI PIECES

I think I want to collect a few more Elsa Peretti pieces, especially the vintage ones in silver. One style that I want to try on and play with is the bone cuff. I am honestly super obsessed with it, but I have no idea how it will look on me.

#10 SHORT BLACK JACKETS

I have been on the lookout for some chic looking short jackets for the late fall and early winter days that I don’t want to be wearing a long coat. You would think this would be an easy find, but it hasn’t been. I want something very simple, but also not a blazer style item. I have to spend some time to see what’s out there.

#11 BLACK LEATHER JACKET

I really need a black leather jacket. I love YSL’s leather jackets, but it’s not really in my budget. I want to try on some of Nour Hammour’s pieces. We will see what I find. This is another tough category for me, as I’m very particular about leather jacket styles.

#12 LONGCHAMP TRAVEL

Despite getting the Margaux 17 and wanting to use that bag for travels, part of me really feels bad about sticking it under the seat and cramming the handles down. It’s not how I want to start using this bag. I’ve heard way too many horror stories on flights, I couldn’t handle that type of heartbreak. I want to baby it for just a little bit. Until then, I need a travel bag, and it’s actually a great addition and not just a placeholder. I have been really loving this old but classic piece from Longchamp, the travel bag with zippers that allows for expansion.

MY LUXURY WISHLIST

#13 BELT

I don’t really wear belts, but there have been times where my pants were loose, or I was wearing black on black on black, and the belt would have added something to the look and I wished I had one. This doesn’t have to be a pricey purchase, as long as it’s made of real leather. Although, if money was not an issue, I would totally give in and get this androgenous YSL belt.

#14 FLAT MULES

I would really like to have black flat mules that I can wear casually, they don’t necessarily have to be leather, they could be suede or silk. This is another category that I will be looking into options.

A bit ambitious of a list, now that I look at it!
