5 THINGS THAT ARE WORTH THE MONEY: PART I

Are you wondering what are 5 things that are worth the money? I am going to list my top 5 favorites at the moment.

5 THINGS THAT ARE WORTH THE MONEY

There is a trend going on called 5 things that are worth the money. If you landed on this page you likely know what it’s about. People basically list the things they think are worth the cost. Here is my list.
But before I get into it, I want to say that I have always stood by those 5 things, so this is more than just a trend for me. I always thought they were worth the price tag and I have on several occasions advised people to invest (or spend their money – let’s be real) on those things.

This blog post is all about 5 things that are worth the money. What’s your favorite? Please leave me a comment.

#1 PURE BARRE

If you follow me on Instagram you know this. I wake up every morning, have my little routine (coffee, red light mask and heated eye mask) and then head to Pure Barre. I’ve been going to Pure Barre since 2021 with few breaks in between with moving, etc. But it’s the only form of exercise that I’ve done consistently over the years, and more consistently recently up to 4 days a week. The most important message here is to find something you enjoy doing and try doing it on a regular basis, becasue the benefit of exercise is on the long run.

#2 YOUR EDUCATION

Investment in your education pays dividends. I thought about this a little bit more this year as I went back to school for a second Master’s degree. But it’s always been a topic of conversation with people who came to me for any type of advice – can you go back to school for a degree in this field so you can land on a job in this area?

While you plan on going back to school, make sure to check your job’s benefits or find a job that has education benefits that would allow you to get a degree without a million dollar loan. This is a hot take, but there are few degrees that are worth having a really big loan for. If you can get through school without loans or as little out of pocket cost as possible, do it!

#3 THE ROW BAGS

The Row bags are the absolute best quality in my opinion and the price is truly worth it. It’s right at the top alongside Hermes for me, ok and maybe Bottega. Ever since I bought my first bag, I have been hooked. The Row made me appreciate leather that has not been overtly treated. I now see commercially mass produced luxury brands for what they are. Overtreated leather for poor quality, and the mark up is absolutely insane for some of these brands.

#4 A CARTIER WATCH

I invested in a Cartier watch this year. I saved up for quite some time for it. I’m so glad I did. I got the tank watch and I will be using it for a long time, if not forever. I think having one nice watch is a great investment. You don’t need 3 or 5 (unless you want to of course!). But I think one watch is really nice to have.

#5 HEALTHY FOOD

I work in the field of Cardiology and I think my beliefs around the importance of diet and lifestyle are very much impacted by my work. There are a few more important things in life than what you put in your body. The quality of the food you consume can be either nourishing or toxic (with a few in between items). But you get the gist. No matter what medicine you take to control high cholesterol levels or diabetes, the food you consume matters very much so.
