COS PRE-FALL EDIT

Are you interested in shopping at COS pre-fall this year? I made you my very own edit after spending quite some time on their website and in store.

COS PRE-FALL EDIT

Fall is one of my favorite seasons to shop for. I know this has been said a lot in the fashion industry, but it’s true. It’s all about good basic pieces and layering, which really tends to reveal quite a bit about a person’s personal style.

COS does pre-fall & fall better than most brands. My first realization to this was in 2024, I went to COS to try on some pieces and left with more than I anticipated, and I ended up placing an online order. This was my blog post from back then.

They do this through design, quality, and balanced pricing (shocker, I know). But this isn’t true for most mid-range brands. I also think they are hyper aware of the most coveted pieces in luxury retail, and are able to come up with good dupes; alongside making really good foundational pieces that you will most likely come back for time and time again. In my opinion, this is their formula to success and this is why as someone who does not appreciate fast fashion, I really like COS.

If you’re interested in buying some transitional pieces, here is my COS Pre-Fall Edit. I hope you find the selection as interesting as I did!

MOCK NECKS

If you’re into mock necks, Merry Christmas. But there is also another theme going on. This new collection is giving me a Japanese vibe with each piece made with tiny buttons – a little intricate, but anything for fashion. I wasn’t able to try all those pieces on, so I will be back soon.

COS ONLINE STORE

From top left clockwise: Mock-Neck Cardigan (100% wool), Brown Mock-Neck Cardigan (100% wool), Grey Mock-Neck Cardigan (100% cashmere), Fluid Mock-Neck Blouse (synthethic fiber), Merino Wool Mock-Neck Cardigan (wool with some synthetic fibers), Merino Wool Mock-Neck Sweater (100% wool).

TRYING SOME PIECES ON

COS NEW ARRIVALS

These were the four I was able to try on. I really liked the first one from the left. I may return the second and fourth one (I ended up sizing up on this one). I passed on the third.

MORE THINGS & ACCESSORIES

I think this top is also another Japanese inspired piece with small buttons (though made of synthetic fibers). The pants are a classic pair but also a great casual piece (synthetic fibers). The Jacket has a military inspiration to it, which is super in at the moment – especially since Khaite just dropped their collection. This is uniquely in navy (100% wool).

The loafers are chic and very The Row inspired. I think if you want an everyday piece at a lower price point, you might enjoy these (100% leather). I may order these and give the sizing a try. I’m usually in between sizes for shoes with COS. I love wearing chic socks with loafers in winter, these are great (mostly cotton mixed with synthetic fibers). The bag is also very The Row inspired (100% leather).
